Master
Olsen, Motusa Primary Head Master confirmed
receipt of the new copier. Funds raised at the Helava Ball purchased
a new competitive and efficient photocopier for the Motusa
Primary School. The machine was delivered in July and the generator
will follow once a compatible model is found. Master
Olson expressed appreciation to PJR for responding to
his proposal, and relief that he and his staff no longer needed to
use a stencil nor rewrite lessons and tests for their
students. (July 2007). Will upload photos when
received.
Dr Susana
Pene, in her lettter to PJR, conveyed the gratitude
of the Board and Staff of the Hospital for the Donations they
received through PJR and SJ Flying Doctors. She advised
that the equipment was already in use at the hospital and at
respective recipient homes. Dr Pene stated that the medical
aide equipment would be distributed to all patients in need of aide.

Rotuma Council Chairman,
Tarterani Rigamoto voiced the appreciation
of the Council for the furniture they received from PJR and conveyed
their best wishes as PJR progresses forward. (March 2007).

Scholarship offers to the Rotuma High School
in Malhaha in 2006 were not followed through by the School. Despite
initial discussions with the HeadMaster in 2006, PJR did not receive
any committment from the School to facilitate this process
through. |
